Love is a Garden

Love is beautiful. Love is powerful. Love is a mindset.

Love is like a garden. You need to water it daily and give it lots of sunshine, and you need pull out the weeds often. Even the best gardens have weeds….the gardeners just put time and effort into pulling them out right away. If you don’t put time and effort into your garden, into your love…the weeds will overtake it.

Some people lose interest in their gardens, in their love. Some people don’t want to put the effort into it anymore. Some people foolishly think that other gardens don’t need weeding, that they will be naturally easy to maintain. The truth is…they all need work. All love takes a concious effort, and if you aren’t prepared for that effort…your best bet is to remain single, without a garden, without a love.

If you aren’t prepared to weed your garden regularly, to give it sunshine and water, then you don’t deserve the flowers and someone else will surely appreciate them for their beauty. Someone else won’t mind helping pull out the weeds. And one day, you will miss that pretty little garden and all the love you had.
