Christmas Eve 2011 [photo dump]

On Christmas Eve, Matt’s step-mom came over to give the boys their presents, and then we went to my SIL’s for the day and evening.
I took 170 photos, and that’s just on my camera. I also took several on my FIL’s camera {which I forgot at Nat’s…sad. I’ll have to post those pictures later}.
Here are my favourites from Christmas Eve!
Nolan, opening up his presents from Grandma Jenn

Archer, opening his first ever present! With help. & Archer in his car seat before we left

Playing Angry Birds with Daddy/Uncle Matt, and Nolan with his cousin A.
Some pictures of Matt and I.

Uncle D, Matt, and the boys after they went sledding! Nolan’s hiding his face haha.

Nolan, trying to get out of the sled & opening presents later on after dinner!
So concentrated!
 Oh no he didn’t!!!

He LOVED his play doh set from Nana and Pappa D! Pushing around his little car thing.

Nana D with Archer, & Nolan playing with Auntie Nat’s new tea pot {he managed to pour beer into it and tried to take a swig of it haha. No worries, we caught him}.
Nana & Pappa D with Nolan! {Should have had Archer in there too…dang!}
Reading T’was The Night Before Christmas & How the Grinch Stole Christmas to Nolan.
Hanging stockings!
Stockings 🙂
It was a great day, visiting with family and watching the boys rip into their gifts. The joy on Nolan’s face when he opened his new play doh set was priceless!
Matt and his brother D also took the boys out on the ATV and sledding. I should have used the “outside” setting so those photos didn’t turn out so well…opps!
We did a huge gift exchange with Matt’s family. Each person brought two presents, we drew two numbers each and then picked the gifts we wanted. When it was your turn you could steal a gift off someone else. It’s pretty fun! I ended up with spices and a sick knife, and Matt got these weird little spice rack containers haha.
That night, we read our Christmas books to Nolan, hung stockings and set out cookies for Santa!
Such a great day 🙂

  1. I wish we had snow to go sledding. Ok maybe I don't. But sledding seems like so much fun.
