Oh Christmas Tree!!!

Last night we set up the Christmas tree!!!
It was…frustrating. Because our tree has a billion individual pieces.
And we have a toddler. And a cat.
BUT, we did it!

Nolan got to help Matt put the star up, he was so excited! That last picture cracks me right up, Nolan is like pulling Matt’s face skin off.
I think one of my favourite things about the holidays is sitting in my living room with the warm glow of the Christmas tree. I definitely prefer white lights, but we’re planning on getting a new Christmas tree when they go on sale, one with lights already attached and hopefully one that’s less of a pain in the ass to put together.
It definitely feels a lot more like Christmas now!
So people! There are 24 more days until Christmas! Getting excited yet?
Today, we’ll be packing, cleaning, and arranging someone to stop by to check in on the house and the cat. Then we are heading down to visit family tomorrow. I can’t wait to see everyone, and have everyone meet Archer.
It should be good times!! Even if I’m not looking forward to the drive…

Omigosh that was a really technical looking tree, looks fantastic though!!! Im putting our tree up today, i hope it's not in too many pieces! Have fun visiting family!! 🙂

  2. Well, in regards to the pre-lit trees.. make sure you get a good one that has the lights where not all the bulbs need to work in order for the lights to work. My stupid tree was all put together, just snap the 3 sections together and fluff… Then I plugged it in. Only the middle section lit up. I twisted and tightened every darn bulb on that tree and had to tear it all down because the lights wouldn't work =(

  3. It's a beautiful tree. And your men are both rocking hawks! Love it 🙂
