Today’s Blog Dare challenge: How I use social media.

Truthfully? I use social media a lot. I have a BlackBerry, and it’s so easy to check Twitter/Facebook while on the go. I do it several times a day. I used to be even worse than I am now, but my phone is never far from my side and it’s pretty sick {in a not good way}. I’m trying to be less dependent on my phone though. I really don’t want to be like those people in the that commercial, you know the one I’m talking about right? The one where all those people are just glued to their phones; there’s a girl walking down the aisle while playing with her phone, a guy absorbed in his phone while his wife parades around in underwear…etc etc.

Yeah, I don’t want to be that person.

I use social media to stay in touch with family and friends, and to meet new friends. I’m very busy with my toddler and also, I live pretty far from most of my family and friends, so it’s my “social interaction” {and trust me I miss in real life hang outs!}.

How do you use social media?

I use social media like Facebook and Twitter but I do not have a Blackberry or an iPhone. I really want one but Bell Mobility sucks and won’t let me upgrade my phone for another year. Jerks.

I agree I don’t want to be the person who is always glued to their phone. I have somewhat of an addictive personality so maybe it’s best I am without the option to get a smart phone haha.
